Hey kids and adults, I've just posted some new photographs. These are from the Stolen Sleeves space at 538 Johnson Street in Brooklyn. It was my first time checking out Little Lungs, they were quite amazing... Angie on guitar? What a mixed up world! Also a slew of new Cheeky shots up too. Speaking of which they now have copies of their new Art Of The Underground single for sale, cop that cause it's awesome. One original and one Slingshot Dakota cover. Aside from that they just announced they are going to release their debut lp on Don Giovanni in early '09... stoked! That same evening Carnal Knowledge played their final show, I stepped out to get some iced tea and came back and the place was packed in like sardines so I saw very little but liked what I heard. That's it for now, come back soon.

So recently I got wind of a new hardcore book that was coming out called Radio Silence, two dudes complied everything from unseen photos, layout templates, old fliers, t-shirt designs and zines from the first fifteen years of American Hardcore. Not a huge read but an image heavy browse-book, really sick product. Anyway the dudes hosted a book release party in Dumbo at the Powerhouse Arena and invited Boston's Mind Eraser to play. A few photos (of the insanely large crowd) up now. Last weekend John Mee had his 25th birthday party at The Hobo House in Long Island and invited Everything Sucks, Halfway To Hell Club and Chronic to play. A couple of photos of HW2HC up now. More shit coming soon.

Video up from Satanized's performance at "Less Artists, More Condos" is up now. Check it out, they rule. Like a second coming of Ink & Dagger but with more noise.

So I just added some shots of Fucked Up from their Generation Records performance. It was a weird, fun time. They played an after show that I missed that was supposedly amazing. Two shots of Penny Winblood from SpeedSpeedSpeed's record release show, too. Really cool super technical two piece band from Brooklyn. So as promised I have made the last Turncoat recording available to the public. It was a DIY op, but I'm proud of how everything came out. Do me a favor, and yourself, and visit the Just a Audial site at www.justaaudial.net, stream the entire record and then pick up a limited copy of the cassette for 5 bucks! Seriously one of the best hardcore records to come out for some time. I know cassettes aren't current but they are cool. If you have an issue with it you can validate the 5 bucks by saying you're paying for the free digital download it comes out with. After the Turncoat shit I'm releasing the first Youthviolence single with my man Eric Beauchard, check out the b-side at their page. So get that tape and keep checking both sites for more updates.
