Yo. It's 2010. My first update from this new year is a few shots of Little Lungs, which is one of the bands I'm most excited about this year. They played at 538 Johnson Ave. with a bunch of really cool bands. One being an instrumental band called Field Day from somewhere down south. They were pretty mind blowing as well, just tight as hell. I bought their record which is great but it doesn't compare to seeing them live. Anyway, speaking of records Little Lungs played a bunch of new tunes from their upcoming Living Hell 7", which is phenomenal. They will be playing to record release shows this week in at Mr. Beery's on Long Island on Saturday and Sunday at Death By Audio in Brooklyn. See ya soon.

So one of my favorite bands of recent years, Cheeky, recently released one of the best follow up albums a band could produce as a follow up album and then broke up a month later! What the heck! (pun intended) Anyway, I just posted up the few photos I could snap without getting completely destroyed by elbow-swinging teens (you rotten kids!) in the photos section. I hear there are some new bands in the works, but I'll still be looking forward to the reunion show! Also up are a few of their opening acts from the night, ShellShag and Slingshot Dakota.

Up now is Mind Eraser footage from this weekend's show at the Cake Shop. They played a number of new songs and played a bunch of other hits. Good stuff. More soon.
