I have been away for a while from the updates! A few things have happened, so sorry for the delay...

A few months back Adam Lentz, resident Rev staffer and former In Control member, did an in depth interview for No Echo with our favorite front man Eric Ozenne. They go into detail about everything from Eric's time in New York hanging out with members of the Gorrilla Biscuits and Youth of Today, to time spent living in a house with members of The Dance Hall Crashers and Rancid. Such a great read, BIG thanks to Adam for bringing us that! Find it here.

The other thing is that there are two new shirts available exclusively from the Rev Webstore, a white and black version! Check it out here.

As always any submissions are always welcome!

Here's a very small update: New interview up (#6) which is basically an expanded version of the insound.com (#1) with a bunch of pictures! Always looking for more submissions so send them over!

Hey, look at that... a little less time between updates! As you may have notice from the current front page opener Revelation Records announced yesterday that they will be reprinting two designs of Nerve Agents t-shirts! Pre-orders are up now and start shipping out tomorrow. And while you're there you can grab a CD copy of Day of The White Owl on sale for just 5 bucks! Also in this update is a couple photos dug up from an old friend, Timothy Lipman, from the Nerve Agents first East Coast tour when they played Long Island. And last in this update, I've just added an interview with Eric, Andy, and Dante that was conducted in around 1999 from The Right Path fanzine. A great three page read with a couple of gritty black and white snaps. I'll be back when there's more news to report!

Long time, no update! This weekend Revelation Records will reportedly be re-releasing the classic Days Of The White Owl album for 2013's Record Store Day. For locations, and more information visit www.recordstoreday.com

Hello fellow Nerve Agents fans, not much to add on the news side of things. Darker My Love just released their latest Alive As You Are. No new updates on Said Radio's follow up as of yet. The last I heard the music had been recorded but was just waiting on vocals to be completed... but there is no timeline placed on it. Also, we're still patiently waiting on the announced Nerve Agents DVD project that Mankind Records made public not too long ago. In site news I've just added a whole new slew of photos. First off I was flipping through my hard drive and came across a folder of old photos I got from Mytch Parks a long while back, so those have been added to his gallery. Secondly, I added a new section called "Misc" which collects a mess of stuff that I've collected. A lot of it is stuff I had saved on my own before the boys even broke up, never thinking I would do this site I never saved the information on where it was originally from. Years later most of those sites don't exist anymore. On top of that it has a bunch of promotional stuff and even info on the skate deck! Go check it out, and if you have anything to add or know where the credits belong please contact me! Thanks, enjoy.

A few updates: an old interview from "Stage Dive Fanzine" is now up, if you are the creator of that zine get in touch - couldn't find you on the internet! A few t-shirt designs are up as well. A few more things need to be scanned or photographed from my collection, those are coming soon. In Said Radio news I got word that new material may be worked on in the spring... so go heckle them at their myspace page about it!
Still always looking for submissions for this page whether it be old photos (no matter the quality), fliers, interviews, tattoos... anything! Get in touch. Enjoy.

Said Radio returns! This weekend Said Radio returns to playing live shows with Tiger Army all the way up in Oregon. They have announced further dates with Tiger Army touring California in September as well. Mankind Records is preparing the second pressing of "Tidal Waves And Teeth". On top of that Said Radio is currently working on a follow up to their debut.

04/13/08
Greetings. It's been a short while but I have some new tidbits. A few new things updated. Up now is a new tattoo in the tattoos section, and coming later in the week will be a new photographer's gallery with some really cool shots. On the Said Radio front, Eric has posted that we should keep our eyes out for a new album this summer, terrific!

01/03/08
It's a new year and Said Radio has announced their first show back as a band in '08. February 17th, 2007 SR will be performing with Shook Ones, Hour of The Wolf and Comadre at Gilman St. If you're in the area definitely make it out to the show! Keep checking out their myspace page for more updates.

Hey folks, two tidbits to report. First off, there is a brand spankin' new Nerve Agents shirt design for sale over at Revelation Headquarters, check it out right here. Second bit: Said Radio is "officially back together" according to Mister Ranger himself. Sheric D announced it on the group's myspace page this past week and added a new album will be available in 2008! More info when it arrives.

10/14/07
As quickly as they came in, they went. Apparently, Said Radio has broken up. No official statement has been issued as to why, but they have cancelled their upcoming dates with Tiger Army and have announced the break-up on their myspace. What a sad turn of events! I've uploaded some photos from thier show at The Knitting Factory in NYC on my other site, www.justavisual.net, check those out and enjoy the one record they left.

Said Radio's (new project from Dante Sigona and Eric Ozenne) debut record "Tidal Waves And Teeth" is now available from Mankind Records!

Tidal Waves And Teeth is a record seemingly written by a hardcore band with an affinity for surf-punk. Dante Sigona's eerie, um... minor notes(?) and signature playing style seem to pick up where the Butterfly Collection left off; while Gary Gutfeld's drumming grounds the album in some brand of thrash. Eric Ozenne has not lost a step over the years. On Tidal Waves... his vocal exploration is the thing that jumps out upon first listen. Droning, zombie-like spoken word; his longest held screams and what appears to be a bit of singing. Said Radio is raging and (not unlike their prior bands) dancing around the fine line of (sub-)genre. I'm sure they will definitely receive some confused stares on their first tours. The former Redemption 87 and Nerve Agents are also taking their close friends and members of Ceremony (Anthony Anzaldo & Ryan Mattos) along for the ride on this project. It could be because I have been anticipating this band for years, but this is easily my favorite record of the year.

Said Radio just returned from their first tour of the East Coast. While on tour they stopped off at NYC's Knitting Factory where I snapped a few photos and thanks to Charlotte Davis got some video.

I know some of you may be coming to this page and wondering why so much news of new projects is being posted when the Agents have since done a number of other bands? Honestly, it's because I haven't been this excited about any of the new projects from the boys. Said Radio features two of the key creative members of The Nerve Agents and so far has not been letting us down. Dante Sigona, former brilliant NA bass player, is writing the majority of the music, white Sheric D is handling the lyrics. This stuff is killer! Go see for yourself at their myspace page where they have posted FOUR NEW TRACKS from their upcoming Mankind Records release!!

06/23/07
Update and New lyrics!
This Said Radio comes straight from Mr. Sheric D himself:
Dante and Gary and I are finishing the SAID RADIO album this weekend...our SAID RADIO my space page will have four tracks up next week (probably Monday) for the next month until the album is released...

It will be called: SAID RADIO "Tidal Waves and Teeth"

Tidal Waves and Teeth

I’ve just come in the door
And my friends and family are coming at me
Like tidal waves and teeth
Chattering up like wooden puppets that won’t stop
and they don’t stop
My boss has got me on the block
Quota unmet…inept

So …she said, he said
They said

“Here’s something to take that edge off
…I’ve got something to take the edge off…

He said, she said, they said

Cause’ its all just monkey business

Sedatives?
I want my head!
I want my head!
I want my head!

The new band has a name! Said Radio have just posted a new space on myspace at http://myspace.com/saidradio, thew line up consists of Eric Ozenne on vocals, Dante Sigona on guitar, Anthony Anzaldo on guitar, Ryan Mattos on bass and Gary Gutfeld on drums. This is some exciting news, lets hope things blossom soon!

04/28/07
While we patiently wait for news of the upcoming 7" and DVD, or futher news of the new band Glamor, I've uploaded a new video clip to satisfy the craving for Nerve Agents. This clip comes from a trade I made quite some time ago. Back then I didn't keep contacts for things like this and have since lost the name of the person who shot the footage. The clip of the Boys performing "Evil" in the summer of 2000 and was filmed in Virginia (most likely Richmond). It was imported from a second generation VHS so please excuse the quality. If you are, or know the original author of the footage please get in touch! More soon.

04/19/07
So some news has just came in... another new band has been formed and two key members of The Nerve Agents are a part of it. They are called Glamor. Glamor features Eric Ozenne on vocals, Gary Gutfeld (of Redemption 87), Ryan and Anthony of Ceremony and Dante Sigona on bass. Apparently they have been busy preparing a record that will (hopefully) be released this summer and plan to tour in support of it! More news of this band when it's available, but word is that musically it's almost picking up from where the Agents left off. Stay tuned!

10/02/06
Hellcat Records has just put their site back online with an all new design and some new features. Check out the page for our boys right here for a sweet new photo of Sheric D and the fans!

As quickly as they came to be, "The Strange Young Heroes are dead". According to Mankind Records the group did not dissolve altogether but are instead regrouping with a slight line up change and may still be able to play their first show this month at Gilman St. Here's hoping that's the case. In other news, thanks to the brilliant people at YouTube (who've revolutionized video sharing) I have posted a few more videos of the boys. Check them out. More stuff to come in a section that I'll call "random finds from over the years". Thanks!

02/11/06
So a quick update, a new band has formed and will be releasing their debut on Mankind Records. That new band consists of Eric Ozenne and Dante Sigona, former Nerve Agents members, along side Timmy Chunks and Gary Gutfield of Redemption 87 and Mark Hayworth of Inside Out. Collectively they are calling themselves The Strange Young Heroes. Look for more information on this punk super group in the near future!

11/03/05
I have just added some new photos from Trevor Myers, check them out. They have captured some golden moments in live performance!

10/17/05
I just received some good news from Mankind Records:

The Nerve Agents 7"/CDEP is going to have the 3 songs from the Kill Your Idols/Nerve Agents split, the song from the V/A "The Way It Should Be" CD, and 4 live tracks. It's tentatively scheduled to be released in early 2006 but no definate date has been set yet. And, the The Nerve Agents "Live" DVD is going to be released around the same time.

Some new photo sections have been added including some beautiful new shots by Knowles Allen

A new video clip from The Pound has been added to the video section.

Other good news, The Poisoning is now hosted on my own site: Just a Visual.net. Which means no more error messages about data transfer.

08/16/05
Tim Armstrong's film, "Give 'Em The Boot," is out now and features a performance of "Evil" by the Nerve Agents, check it out! Speaking of videos, I hear Mankind Records (of KYI / NA split fame) may be working on a new project... keep your ears peeled.

06/20/05
